WHAT IS “BEDLAM”?

Many people was asking about the tagline of UFC 85 event. Haven’t heard it before? Bedlam means a scene or state of wild uproar,chaos, or confusion. Bedlam also means “madhouse”.


UFC 85: BEDLAM NEWS:

UFC 85 had encountered reconstructions due to the series of injuries of fighters which are expected to play in this event. UFC management had to put another set of fighters which would make the event possible. Supposedly the main event should be between Chuck Liddell and Mauricio Rua for the light heavyweight division. But what happened is, Rua needs a surgery on his knee. Rashad Evans should replace Rua in this fight but Lidell was taken out of the fight because he has hamstring injury. James Irvin supposedly be the replacement for Lidell, but he got foot injury. Since all of them has injury, Evans was force to take out from the card as well. Later on, UFC management finally decided to make Matt Hughes and Thiago “PITBULL” Alves be the main event of UFC 85 event. Another highlight of UFC 85 event is the showdown between Michael Bisping and Chris Leben. But Leben doesn’t have enough tie to prepare or practice for this event that’s why he was also taken out from the card. Jason day replaces Chris leben.
