10,000 B.C is a movie of Roland Emmerich which will take you to the prehistoric era. D’Leh (Steven Strait), the leading actor, is a young mammoth hunter and was the son of a hunter who abandoned the village. Nobody knows the truth except for Tic Tic (CLiff Curtis). Tic tic is D’leh’s mentor.

    The story starts with Evolet (Camilla Belle), who was from another village and was predicted to be the one who will bring good luck to the village. She was kept in the village and grows with D’Leh.

    The villagers are almost dying because of lack of food. Until, the great hunt day came, and all men tried to catch at least one mammoth. Every one tried to hunt mammoth but they were too large and they don’t have good spear. D’Leh accidentally killed one mammoth as he sprunged a spear in between two stones. Because of this the village have a food to feast and he was given a white spear. But he later on realized that it was not really him who killed the mammoth but the mammoth itself get stabbed as it fell to the spear.

    At night, a group of raiders came in the village and kidnap several of the tribes. The warlord (Affif Ben Badra), leader of the four-legged demons, have noticed Evolet and fell in love with the young girl’s beauty.

    D’Leh together with Tic Tic and Baku followed the raiders. But it was not that too easy. The moment they will rescue the villagers, Baku was taken as well. D’Leh carried Tic Tic because Tic Tic was injured by the big birds attacked. D’leh was looking for food when he falls into a trap-hole where he finds a trapped Spear-Tooth. D’leh rescued the big cat and warned the cat not to eat him. The Spear-Tooth was saved and didn’t harmed him.

10,000 b.c.

    They have reached the Naku tribe. They were surrounded by the people of tribe until the Spear-Tooth came. The tribe was very frightened. The big cat looked at D’Leh. D’Leh speaks with the big cat and tell the Spear-Tooth that he was the one who saved him. The Spear-Tooth remembers him and the it went away leaving them unharmed. The tribe was very amazed and they have found the man they’ve been waiting for. In their prophecy, a man ho can speak with the Spear-Tooth will be their savior. Nakudu, leader of Naku tribe, had met his father and learnt the Yagahl’s words (D’Leh’s language).

    Other tribes joined him as they were living on their prophecy. They were on to their journey to the “Mountain of Gods”. The raiders and the kidnapped villagers used the sea to reached their land, “mountain of Gods”. Because D’Leh and the rest don’t have boats that will carry them to that land, they travel to the desert( they called it as snake). It was believed that nobody had survived in that way. It was believed that no one have reached the mouth of the snake. They were very tired and they were suffering from great hunger. Until, D’Leh had found the great way to reached the “Mountain of Gods”. They travel at night because at night they can see the star. They followed the star and finally reached that land. At this time, Tic Tic was stabbed to death after killing the 3 army-men of the God. D’Leh had a great plan. They went to the slaves (their family and other kidnapped people)resting place. They talked with them and they tell that D’Leh will be the one who will free them and other slaves. At day, they burrow their spears on the sand and pretend to be one of the slaves. And they started the fight. They free the mammoths and other slaves. Armies of God went to their place, D’Leh want the mammoth to be wild but the mammoth stand still. D’Leh had stabbed one of the mammoths throat and the mammoths become wild. His plan works and the armies met their death as they face the raging mammoths.

    The tribes and other slaves begin to fight and get their spears burrowed in the sand. They have defeated the armies and they were on their way to the God’s place.

 

10,000 b.c.


    Pyramid God (Tim Barlow ) was the last of the three surviving Atlanteans and a tyrant who sought to enslave all people on earth. The Pyramid God covers his body to hide signs of his aging from his followers to have think of him as divine. He also fears the “hunter”, who is said to kill him. At that day, they have already saw the sign of the hunter in Evolet’s hand.

    The pyramid God together with his followers went outside to see the hunter and the rest of the slaves. The God told D’Leh that they will free the Evolet if he will leave his place leaving the rest of the people as his slaves. D’Leh didn’t agree with him and he threw his spear to the God. “He is not a God!” This was the famous line of D’Leh. The God fell, his face was shown and he died.

    The warlord take Evolet. D’Leh followed them. Evolet stabbed the warlord. They have thought that the warlord is dead but he arrowed Evolet.

    The old mother gave her life to Evolet. Evolet did not die.

    At the end of the movie, D’Leh had seen the crops grow in their fields. These came from the seeds collected by his father. This is the plan of his father, to have seeds so that they will have their food by not waiting for the mammoths to arrive. Seeds that will ensure that they will never lacked food again.
