   I have lost the installation CD for Linksys WRT54GSv1.1 I was wondering if anyone knew where to download drivers for my XP Computer.

   actually you don’t need the installation CD.. WRT54GS and any linksys router are plug and play… if you don’t know how to setup just check my articles. I have all the info regarding linsys routers here in my site…by the way what is your ISP?..so that i can help you.or you can email me..

   I’m unsure as to my ISP. I had this Lynksis set up about two years ago. I disconnected it and was ‘hardwired’ into a cable connection. I’ve reconnected it, been to Lynksis, and set up the router. when it checks the system, it comes back with unsuported. I have a compaq with WinXP…

   is your Internet Service provider is Comcast? it is a cable ISP. What is the error message?

   you told me that it was installed before right? So try to uninstall it and restart your PC. Good restart is: turn off the PC first and then if it is off, turn off the router, and then after the router your modem.wait for 1-2 mins and then turn on the modem first, if all the lights on the modem are steady,turn on the rputer and then last is the PC.    There are so many ways how to ts it. You can try to download the firmware as well to make it work but since your case it is not recognizable give me the exact error.
